For Ohio's game today, is Kent State setting the all-time lowest attendance record for a single game by home team ranked in the AP Top 25?

It is shocking. Kent has their best team ever and a legit top 25 team that is 10-1 and draws like 15k. What is the deal with this conference?

And it's a beautiful day up there too. It's not like a typical 25 degree November day...it's sunny and 60 degrees!

Do you really think we'd have more than that for a Friday morning game? History does not support that!

If we were ranked in the top 25, we would. Sadly, that doesn't look probable anytime soon.

I don't believe we would have drawn any more. The day after Thanksgiving with no students in town? 15k would have been tops.

I believe that the administration request a road game for this date due to attendance reasons. What's it been, 4-5 years since we've been in this slot?

2009, we beat Temple the day after Thanksgiving to wrap up the East Division.

It stinks that Ohio State just takes over all of Ohio. It's hard to have many fans attend games for MAC Schedule when there played on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays than Saturdays.. If they had all Ohio State games at night, and the MAC games before 4 pm I think that would help attendance.

That's several years, I am 99% sure after this game the administration asked to play that slot on the road.
