According to Pat Forde, you can get a seat at Friday's MACCG for $2.95:

Pat Forde @YahooForde

Awesome. RT @DanWetzel: StubHub cheapest title game tix: MAC $2.95, ACC $4, B10 $16.99, P12 $69, SEC $295. Should count in BCS formula.

Hey, if it gets butts in the seats, why not?  If you fill half the stadium at that price, that's an extra $75,000.

A few years ago that would've bought you two and a half houses.

If the MACC was here in Cincinnati and I could watch for $3 I would probably go, especially if PBS was an indoor facility like Ford Field.  Smart, realistic move in my opinion.  Better to know who you are and make the most of it than live in a fantasy land charging north of $25-50 for a ticket.

These are StubHub tickets on the secondary market. It's not the face value being charged for the MAC Championship Game.

These are just the secondary market prices. Also, it looks like people scooped up all the cheap ones. The lowest price on StubHub is now $10 plus fees.

The cheapest tickets on Ticketmaster are $10 ($14 after fees). Interesting that half of the lower level is almost completely sold out on Ticketmaster. Don't know who's side it is, but the only seats left are a few rows in the corner.

Even $2.95 is too much if it means repeating the experience I had at last year's MACC.

Next year when we go back and win that game just remember not too stay at the shorecrest motor inn. I stayed there for the Detroit Grand Prix last year because it was cheap and easy to get to everything(the race, baseball park, and casino). Well you get what you pay for.
