Might as well go for Idaho; at least there will be one legit rivalry left.

With all the people saying "Let's make a new conference!"  Have you guys even considered that this will cost each institution a lot of money to actual have this happen?

They have to hire a commissioner, get office space, fill said office space with staff and employees, spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal fees, and a laundry list of things that I don't even know about.  Let alone every single institution would have to pay the exit fee of their respective conferences.

Creating a new conference would require a MAJOR financial investment on all institutions.  I just can't see that happening.

Tulane probably regrets the fact that they left the SEC, and wishes they could get back in.
