Dear Santa, I have been a good boy this year and have a big wish list for Christmas, I hope you don't mind.  To start, I am a big fan of Ohio University football and will start there:

Please give me a defense that is strong, physical, and likes to hit.  I get sad when I see my team let the other guy go before he hits the ground.  Can you sprinkle in a little attitude and intimidation too?  This defense does not have much left.  I think they used it all up against Penn State.

If it's not asking too much, I would like to have a defensive backfield that can cover or tackle.  I know we should have DBs that do both, but I don't want to get greedy.  I will take one or the other for right now.

I would like to see the strength and conditioning program to be scrapped, and completely reinvented.  Not the facility (which is dated, but that's OK) but the philosophy behind the program.  We need to get stronger across the board. We have receivers that look like they cannot bench their weight.

I REALLY would like to get better performance next year from the special teams department.  Coaches as well as players.  Can you help?

Finally, can you send in a few more playmakers?  I know there were a LOT of injuries this year and I hope those that return are ready to go next year and the new recruiting classes are prepared to contribute.  Those that graduate, I wish them well and good health.

If this is asking too much, then please give every Fiami player - past, present, and future, a lump of coal.

I'll agree that our strength program needs to improve.  But I would challenge you that looks can be deceiving...  In fact I believe I know the receiver you may be refering too.  He benches over 350...  Saw it on their workout board..  This would be nearly double his weight...  So don't judge everything based on how someone looks...
