See if this link works...

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiqHK_aRVjCB...

Somehow Kent State claimed 18,230 in the final week, out of 20,500 capacity.  I saw 2,270 open seats in the first 5 rows back from the field though.

Ohio at 91.02% is tops.
Kent 87.22%
Toledo 78.3%
BG 62.23%
Miami 60.66
NIU 52.4

We also had the highest total average attendance at 21,844, ahead of Toledo's 20,552.  Kent averaged 17880.  NIU averaged 15,777.

EMU 14% and 4,364 average.
Akron 34.35% and 9,275 average.

That's my spreadsheet, and when I made it I just pulled stadium capacities off of Wikipedia. After going to the Kent game, I saw that there is no way that stadium seats just 20,000. I went and looked at their official website and they list the capacity at 25,319.

I've updated the spreadsheet to reflect that, and Kent's average capacity drops to 70.62%, putting them at 3rd behind Toledo and giving us an even bigger cushion at the top.

It's pretty close to the NCAA's figures, although they have BSU and CMU ahead of NIU.

Is this the 1st time we have won the attendance totals in both Basketball and Football in the same year?

It's great either way!

FWIW - Huskie stadium's capacity is officially 24K (or a little over 24K), not 28K or 31K as it used to be listed.

Believe that it may be the first time that we've EVER led the conference in football.

@TheRealOHIO
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply ownership.  It just showed up at the top of my google docs list and thought it was worth posting.  Thanks for your work putting that together!

No problem! I didn't think you were implying ownership. I just wanted to say that it was my fault that the Kent number was off, and that I corrected it.
