Thanks TV! I live in Cincy and know how Bearcat fans feel about the goings on in the Big East. Just curious, what would you say is the feeling of the Temple fans?

We're nervous about the Big East. Just when we get invited to the cool kids party... everyone leaves to another one.
I like the plan the Big East has.. but the key is pulling in BYU or Air Force to keep the western schools happy.
There is a lot of turmoil within the basketball only schools about the defections and the possibility exists that they might vote to dissolve but I don't think that's going to happen simply because they won't be able to draw the revenue even a weaker Big East would create.
Our hope is that if Georgia Tech, Virginia or North Carolina leave the ACC for other places... that Temple's market alone would warrant an invite to the ACC.. it's doubtful though.
My philosphy is that conference re-alignment is like running from a bear... You don't have to be first out of the woods.. just need to be ahead of the guy who is last.
Other note.. I'm glad you guys aren't going to the Military Bowl... Washington DC is great to visit but RFK Stadium is an absolute dump in a bad part of town.

Thanks, TU! We hope that our team can turn around its late season swoon and play well in this bowl.

Since Carolina is pretty much a b-ball school, I think they're entrenched with the ACC. UVA and Ga Tech can probably be persuaded, though. Wherever you land, it would be good to renew the rivalry. Best of luck.
