And yet, there are people on here bitching and complaining. It’s unbelievable.

I dug through the comments--where are people bitching about the win?

Where you been for past three weeks. Plenty out there who had dismissed 9 wins and 10 wins season and state we need to fire the staff. Hell one is in the game thread during the 1st half.

The comment alluded to "bitching and complaining" AFTER the bowl win. I don't see it.

The comment wasn’t about the bowl win, it was in reference to a number of comments throughout the season in regard to the team, coaches, etc. Back to back 10 win season and 5 bowl wins in a row and some of the the things people complain about along the way are insane. Very quiet from that standpoint now at least. SMH…

Stop with this nonsense. You are trying to speak this into existence by repeating it over and over and even starting a thread about it. There are, on a Monday afternoon, 145 active visitors to BobcatAttack right now. Over the last month, there have been two, maybe three posters who have talked about regime change. That is hardly 'plenty' but you want to continue to repeat it as though there are pitchforks in the streets of Athens.

As for the staff, Saturday's performance was all I needed to see to make me even more of a believer. What a remarkable gameplan and execution. The play on both sides of the ball was outstanding. My outlook on next year quickly went from gloomy to promising with the breakout performances by Hunt and Navarro.

Definitely true. A (very, very) vocal minority. Mostly it was emotional outbursts in game threads, with an occasional poster who doubled and tripled down when pressed.

But it's far from the consensus and the average poster here recognizes how ridiculous the idea is.

Butt hurt much and fail to appreciate sarcasm? Just like on FB those bemoaners have retreated but will be back. And we have several regulars who w wanted to still in the past month bring up press conferences. It’s all stupid, Tim is doing a great job! Been a small handful here who’ve had his back from year one.

"We’ll always look to how big of a failure this season was - not that we won 9 games. What a tremendous let down."

The above is just one of the quotes from a certain poster who frequently bashes the Bobcat football program and coaches. BTC is absolutely correct. There are some who are never satisfied even though Coach Albin has won 10 games in consecutive seasons for the first time in school history. The players that stayed in Athens and played in the bowl game put forth a great effort. Ohio has now won five straight bowl games. No other current conference school can say that.

Bravo, spot on. Surely he will respond that you're the idiot for failing to detect the correct level of his ever changing and unpredictable sarcasm, while also still pushing his narrative.

Oh look at that he already did.

This particular user is generally unhappy with many, many aspects of things in general. Unless it's a shirt or hat which he'll say "Coach Albin's Heather Hoodie is *fire.*" It's kinda weird.

Been a lurker for a long time. Just recently registered. I always find these little dustups between posters humorous, even the downright nasty ones. Kind of reminds me of a schoolyard brawl at times.

Back to topic: A friend in Athens says the locals are now calling Albin, "Ten win Tim." I believe that's meant as compliment.

I'd like to invite any of you to come to Portland to beat me up. First though, we should have a beer and talk OHIO sports. THEN the beating can commence. I'm not very tough, so it shouldn't take long. Cheers!

Ten wins will be harder in 2024, with all the losses to the portal, but not impossible. The out of conference schedule appears to be @Syracuse, and @Kentucky, with home games against S. Alabama and Morgan State. It will get harder still in 2025, with games @Rutgers and @tOSU, plus home games against WV and Gardener-Webb. Hopefully Albin and staff can keep winning 10+ games.

Just saying the back-to-back 10-win seasons happen to have been when Spence became DC. I think he's probably more important to this team than Albin.
