I thought Frank went to Parma Holy Name not St. Ignatius.

Directly from his Nebraska bio: A native of Cleveland, Solich prepped at Holy Name High School where he earned all-state, All-America and all-scholastic honors. He received his bachelor's (1966) and master's (1972) degrees from Nebraska.

Interesting, Holy Name claims him as an alum

This is strange.  I talked to Frank recently at the Monday Meet the Coach thing at Donato's, and he asked how my summer had gone.  I told him about my 50th high school reunion.  I asked him if he had gone to his 50th this year.  He said that he had never been able to attend a high school reunion because they always took place in the late summer during the time of fall camp.  I asked him if he had graduated from Holy Name in Cleveland and he said yes. Maybe that St. Ignatius at the top his blurb means he transferred from there.  I guess we have ourselves a little mystery here.

St. Ignatius is not just a high school. It's also a church (separate from the HS).

I could be wrong, but they may have listed each student's parish.

This is better than my theory.  I think we may have a winner.  We won't know for sure, though, until Doc awards you a chicken dinner!

Could be a winner winner chicken dinner.....haha.

What's funny is that I was thinkin about this just the other day.  I lived with some Portsmouth dudes on First Street in Athens....we were a slovenly group but once a month my mom and her best friend would bring a Sunday chicken dinner with homemade rolls and raisin pie up to Athens....only time we ever cleaned the place up....mom was the greatest cook on the planet.

Parish and/or elementary school, all the same.  Speaking from experience, that would be a very '60's Catholic thing to do.
