I have noticed that, there's seven Mac schools playing in bowl games this year. Isn't this a record?

Idaho Bowl: Toledo Vs. #22 Utah State December 15th @ 4pm
St. Petersburg: Ball State Vs. UCF December 21st @ 7pm
Little Caesars Bowl: WKU vs. Central Michigan December 26th @7pm
Military Bowl: #24 San Jose St VS. Bowling Green December 27th @3pm
Independence Bowl: Ohio Vs. Louisiana-Monroe December 28th @2pm
Orange Bowl: #15 NIU Vs. #12 FSU January 1st @8pm
GoDaddy.com Bowl: #23 Kent State Vs. Arkansas State January 6th @9pm

With also a record three Mac Schools being ranked in the A.P. poll this year.

I also believe I saw each and every one of the MAC schools is an underdog.  Here's hoping at the end of the day the Conference is NOT 0-7 this year!  That would not speak well for the future...

Yes, a four-point underdog at this point.

It's also of note that the MAC also will be essentially a road team in quite a few of these games with the opponent much closer to home (and with many more fans in attendance).

Generally northern teams are road teams, because the majority of the bowls being played in the south, except for some indoor bowls like the Little Caesars. I wouldn't be surprised if Indy gets a bowl anytime soon...

Well Duh!!!! Draw a line at the Mason Dixon and show me how many Northern schools are "home field" advantage? Big10 has said this for years about the Bowls, same for the Big 12 as outside of those Texas based Bowls their top teams always played in others territory.

Usually the teams like going south for a get-away from soms frigid location.  Doubt the Cats would want to go to Lincoln. Nebraska for a Corn Bowl in late December.
