Just received a call informing me of the bowl game and asking if I'm going. Even though I can't make it (out of the country), I was glad to hear they're doing a "Tickets for Kids" program with the Shreveport Boys and Girls Club. OUr fans can purchase tickets to the game that will then be donated to these local children.
This is a game where, understandably, I think we will struggle with ticket sales. Shreveport is not an easy (or cheap) place to get to, and this location "out-prices" many of our best fans. However, I strongly encourage all BA'ers to help the cause and donate a ticket or two.
It's certainly a nice way to give back and also help out our athletic department a little bit. And no one read me the riot act about donating/selling/purchasing extra tickets!

I think we can all agree this is a worthwhile endeavor.
