Mighty Ugly. What are those things on the helmet?
That back up back doesn't trip on the yard line and Kent is up 14-0.

Darrell Hazell might be the first coach who can ever say he's leaving the MAC for browner pastures in the Big Ten.

LOL!
What, BTW, is that bird-like eye thingy on the front of their helmets?

At this point, I think Kent should just simplfy thier offence by direct snapping to Archer every play. QB isn't even looking anywhere else.

Still pulling for our MAC brothers, but I have to agree on those helmets. They look like they were stolen from a pee wee league.
I hope they can pull it out in the fourth, but Keith does not look sharp tonight.

I liked the helmets. And, I'll go against the grain and say I don't care one bit about whether the other teams in our conference win or not. I root for one team, OUrs. We won't get any respect as a conference at the start of next year anyway, so just like every other year, the MAC will have to win their games for respect. I don't root against them, but I really didn't care that the conference went 2-5, as long as Ohio was one of the wins.

imagine that team with Tettleton or Lynch or Wenning or Dysert or Carder at QB.
random Kent State fact- In the last 4 games against Kent we are 1-3 and have been outscored 86-40. Ohio did not score an offensive touchdown in the 3 losses.

Kent would probably have won if Archer hadn't been injured. Watch the ESPN3 archive of their Rutgers beatdown if you want to see what KSU can do a full throttle. I think they would have done better against FSU than NIU.

Kent's D held one of the highest scoring offenses in the country to half their average. Archer being out killed Kent's offense - QB blew lot's of opportunities (errant passes, bad decisions).

I saw most of the last quarter. Kent's d was okay but their offense could keep playing until the start of next season and not come close to scoring.
