I would love to see Ohio schedule a home-and-home with each of the service academies within the next 15 years. Thoughts?

All for it if we could make it happen.  I believe the service academies try to travel to places where there is a decent population of their branch's personnel/veterans.  We don't offer that.

I believe that we are due a return game from Navy.  It's only been since October 15, 1932 since we beat them 14-0 at their place.

We played and lost to Army 37-20 at West Point on September 14, 1996.

We have never played Air Force.

525-536-46 record for 1107 games and only 2 were against service academies?

If you include VMI in this group, the Bobcats are 3-1 in 4 games.

I have never been to Bowling Green Kentucky so I am no familiar with the size. The reason I mention it is that Navy is at Western Kentucky next year. Once again is BG larger then Athens ? I know the Corvette factory is there but not sure if there is anything else that would make it more attractive then Athens.

I don't know. Those triple option teams (such as Navy and Army) tend to tear up linemen knees...

They must have some kind of connection with Navy.  They played a home-and-home in '09 and '11 and have another in '13 and '14.  They also play at Army next year, home vs the Cadets in '14 and back at West Point in '15.  Fort Campbell isn't far from there.

Didn't we have several offers to play Navy when Paul Johnson was there, seem to remember when we were looking for an opener that ESPN tried to bring this about.

The AD turned down a few chances to play Navy on national TV. Those games then were played on other MAC campuses.
