Would be interested in who, what he would credit for his development?

Probably the strength coach that one guy on here wants fired every year.

He just ran a 5.12 40 yard dash.  Mayock said he might not be drafted, but that he is heavy handed with one of the strongest punches and is great in a phone booth.

5.25 on his second attempt.  Mayock said he is a heavy handed clubber.  One of the toughest players in the draft.  Short arms but huge hands.

Was it not the whole combine, not just the OL?

Just the OL. Don't think the DL has lifted yet.

Combine workout schedule:
» Saturday, Feb. 23: Tight ends, offensive linemen, special teams
» Sunday, Feb. 24: Quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers
» Monday, Feb. 25: Defensive linemen, linebackers
» Tuesday, Feb. 26: Defensive backs

I actually saw this scroll across the bottom line during the basketball game on ESPN2. Pretty cool to see that.

I don't recall ever seeing an NFL OL sprinting 40 yards during a game.

2013 NFL Combine Results: Margus Hunt, Brandon Williams top DLs in bench press drill

These guys had an advantage as they Knew Eric H. had done 36 reps on Sat.

Just curious as to how that is an advantage?

Same reason you pick defense first in overtime: so you know what you have to hit to win. It's probably not as big of an advantage here unless you're among the very last DLs to go, but it's probably more of a disadvantage for the OLs than an advantage for the DLs.

It's still a great feather in Herman's cap.

I disagree, you are in competition with yourself, you are not looking at 24, and when you get to 25 you are stopping.  That is not how the mind works for a competitive athlete, they are looking to set PR's and to hoist as many times as they physically can.

They've corrected the story.  Which probably means Eric is destined to be a UFA.

I've heard the tackle from CMU is a possible #1 pick? Lordy, what would THAT do for the league?

I've seen the cmu lineman as a first ROUND choice on many outlets but not THE #1 choice.

Hey. I'm happy for the guy.  Obviously he moved up POST combine.  I think I saw him between 13-20 in most of the pre combine mock drafts.  Maybe it's good news for Herrman too??
