Ouch!

Well, if we can get Dixon, Reed and Collins, we might get Marvin Sanders. He might be up for another stint with Solich. I can dream, can't I?

I am to be disappointed.  Coach Sanders decides to stay on the west coast and to forego further BCS/FBS headaches by accepting a head coaching position at Los Angelas Loyola High School.  If his  USC Trojan contract still runs awhile longer he might be the best compensated high school coach in the country.  His son, I believe, still has another year of high school and he might not have wanted to uproot him before his senior year.

This also will give coach Solich another contact in the CA high schools, should help recruiting for Ohio.

I would now go the young route, an Ohio grad assist, or someone like Jeff Smart, def grad asst at Colo.  Coach Collins would have known him there.

Here's the chance for some of you, to present your knowledge and make a difference in the program.  I'd imagine the pay would be 65-75k, and State retirement and benefits, car? and phone?  Ad says open to the public.

And, this on the same page:

http://coachingsearch.com/news/2531-video-toledo-sells-qthe-rocket-experienceq.html

Maybe we should be "touting" OUr success a bit more?  And, maybe with 16 MAC titles, we now can understand why they get the big number of three star recruits we often just dream about?

Sorry Ted, didn't see your post on the recruiting page.

Coaching.Search.com indicates, "Ohio University: I have learned that former Nevada corners coach James Ward will join Frank Solich's staff at Ohio University as the new defensive backs coach. Here is our story."

Solid hire if correct.
