Saw on ESPN today that Appalachian State and Georgia Southern are moving up to the FBS level and will join the Sun Belt-something many on here have been predicting.

I have always enjoyed watching these two programs at the FCS level and the style of play they use.

A QB from my high school just signed with GSU-would love to see him play in Peden at some point.

The Southern Conference is really taking a hit, losing two of their best football programs and also one of the better basketball programs in College of Charleston in the near future.  Probably helps strengthen Davidson's hoops stranglehold on that conference for the future.

Does anyone remember this much activity in conference musical chairs in the past?

New Mexico State and Idaho to come along for the ride too, as football only members.
