Many of you are familiar with the story of Io, a Greek priestess of Hera. Io was seduced by the god Zeus, who changed her into a heifer so Hera would not find her. But few know that Io had a twin sister, Oache, who met a similar fate. One day, the Greek god of parties, Dionysus, whisked her away to Athens for the spring fest. This infuriated Hera, who came looking for her. So that Oache could not be found, Dionysus turned her into a windmill, where she turns forever in the gentle breezes coming off the hill. Many centuries later, in a faraway place called Cowtown, the populace built a school for agricultural and mechanical studies. Even though the deity of this school is a Roman, Brutus, the school’s administrators and students covet Io and Oache. Throughout Cowtown you can hear people trying to lure them to Brutus by calling out “Oache” and “Io”. But to no avail. Oache and Io are in the hearts and souls of those who study in Athens, and that is where they shall remain.

Excellent!!!  Please send this to the OHIO Today alumni magazine.  I think they'd print it, at least as a letter to the editor.  Great stuff . . . you are a literary giant among the pygmies (myself included) of BA.

Excellent stuff my man (at least I assume you are haha)!

Even the athletic opponents within the classics department can appreciate such!
