With most of our OU student/athletics graduated, I am excited that OU football camp is almost here.  I am curious though what OU's APR is now.  My nephew just graduated with a degree in Communications with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.  I am so proud of my nephew for keeping his focus and obtaining his degree.  Now he can concentrate on helping the team get a MAC championship!  OU.....OH YEAH!!!

Proud Auntie of an OU Bobcat!

That's awesome about your nephew. It surely is a lot of work to be a player and student.

Ohio's football APR released yesterday was 945. It's actually the lowest among the last five scores, but it's been pretty consistent and the scores have been constantly higher since the first few years. The scores starting in 04-05 have been 936, 938, 944, 949, 953, 950, 949, 945.

Well, that nephew is my son Jamil Shaw.  So glad his shoulder surgery is behind him, getting the degree is behind him, now time for OUr guys to kick butt on the field.  Saw that someone mentioned Shaw as possible safety, IMHO that would be fun to watch with his speed and field coverage.  Okay fellow Bobcatters, enjoy this upcoming season!!!

It was awful to see so many players go down with injury last year. I've never seen any team hit so hard before. Hopefully this year will be very different. If they stay healthy, they definitely have the potential to win the MAC. Your nephew is a good player and I'm sure they will have him on the field at some position or other. The one benefit of all those injuries is that this year the depth in the secondary will be very high, which should mean a great rotation, with fresh guys in all the time.

Here's wishing him a great season.

VAMamaCat--That is excellent news about Jamil already having his degree.  Congratulations to your son and you!

Congrats on the degree!  He has been a class act.  Looking forward to a big year from him.

Does anyone know if they will be doing another Relentless series (or something similar)?
