For what it's worth, that's where Brando has them finishing 2013.

Does he see Louisville beating an SEC team in the national title game? A question worth asking is when had Louisville finished a season undefeated? They've come close but no cigar a few times.

FWIW Louisville beat Florida (11-2) in the Sugar Bowl last year and the game wasn't as close at the score indicated.  Florida's only SEC loss came against Georgia and it cost them a shot to play in the SEC championship game.  Fla. and UGA both finished with 7-1 records in the SEC east.  Florida beat Texas A&M, Fla. State, LSU and crushed South Carolina.  In the end as good as Louisville is this year no way they finish #1.  Hell they will probably have at least one league loss if not 2.

I posted this on another forum but thought it might be of interest here as well. Both starting QBs for the Lville v Ohio game are entering their 3rd year as QB1. One of them is hyped to be the frontrunner for the Heisman, the other isn't even in the discussion. Based on these numbers could you tell which was which if the names were removed?

I'm bored, so let's throw out a hypothetical with these two options:

1.) Beat Louisville. Vault into the top 25 after the Marshall game, and stay in the top 25 until two late losses to BG and Kent.  Finish with a 10-2 record (2nd place MAC East), and invited to the Idaho Potato Bowl.

2.) Lose to Louisville. Lose one other MAC game. Finish with 10-2 record (1st place MAC East).  Win MAC championship game and invited to Little Caesars bowl.

Is there any debate to even be had here?

Depends on who we would play in the MACC.  Mobile has the first pick of MAC bowl teams this year.  If we were to play NIU, you'd probably be right.  NIU doesn't travel well to Motown and would bring more to Mobile.  But if we were to play Toledo -- which packed Ford Field the last time they were there -- I'd guess that the MAC would cut a deal to send us to Mobile and Toledo to Detroit.

So far Frank has taken us to 5 bowl games all of which are different games. I can't see us repeating an appearance in Idaho or Detroit. Mobile maybe if we win the MAC.
