  • 2012: 9-4 (4-4)
  • Worth watching: With two all-conference linemen lost to graduation, Ohio needs G Jon Lechner -- and T John Prior -- to solidify a remade offensive front to protect QB Tyler Tettleton. Lechner is the most game-tested lineman in the MAC, having played in every game but one since his redshirt freshman season.
  • Bottom line: With the MAC's best coaching staff and a senior-heavy offense, Ohio should be viewed as the early East leader. To deliver, the Bobcats must improve in three areas: run defense, third-down defense and pass protection. Overall, however, Ohio should win at least eight regular-season games.
