Reminds me of the falcon for the Air Force Academy, which when released for the half-time show, never came back. Better keep that owl tied down.

I don't have a pic but their billboards are just as embarrassing as their field.

Their conference switch did one thing they had hoped for: put more butts in the seats.  Their four MAC home games in 2011 were Toledo (21,705 official attendance), Buffalo (25,820), Fiami (17,050) and Kent (16,368).  Their four Big Least home games last season were USF (25,796), Rutgers (35,145 -- I imagine there was almost as much scarlet as there was cherry in the stands), Cincy (20,192) and Syracuse (22,317).  They averaged 20,236 per conference home game in '11 and 25,863 last season.  Still, the stadium was more than half full for only one game.

I would bet that Temple fans were clearly outnumbered.
