Wow. That's an amazing hire. Wonder if he didn't see eye to eye with Sean Lewis?

FWIW, SDSU currently has 8 players in the portal, and most follow our coaches on X. Not sure, however, if players still follow coaches, or Benjamins, to destinations these days.

I was thinking the same thing. Would be nice if some players who liked him as their coach would come over to join our Defense.

It's hard to know why he is at Ohio. Maybe he likes the Midwest? Maybe he likes the others on the Ohio staff? In any case, he looks like a great hire, and I hope he does well and sticks around awhile. It's better to have had a good coach like Nowinsky on the staff for a couple of years than to never have had him at all.

From Russ' Interview Coach Albin said they have a connection. He visited with the Burrow led defensive staff in the offseasons of 2014 and 15. Midwest guy.
