Even for those not fond of Twitter, it's worth the effort just to follow FakeGuyMAC.  He's been very funny heading into FB season.  My favorite:  The MAC's new bowl announcement, which he suggested should be named "The Camellia Bowl presented by POULAN WEED EATER!"

No wonder Jeremy Guy in the MAC office hates him.

BTW, I suspect FakeGuy is actually Bobcat Love.

There was a thread about this account on the basketball board not too long ago, and many were suggesting it was Bobcat Love or The Optimist. I agree, it's very funny stuff.

I suspect it's a BG or Toledo fan. Too many inside jokes from that area.

It isn't me. Promise.

I looked back at the Twitter followers he has... They are in chronological order from who followed him 1st when the account started... The first 20 or so all appear to be Bobcat fans, and bobcatattack posters at that. That is kinda funny to see.

I think the reason that Bobcat fans were the first to sign up is because the account was set up right after the ESPN3 debacle. When the MAC's Director of Communications thought it was a good idea to make fun of the MAC's largest fan base with his #13Kstrong hashtag after he screwed up and said Ohio was going to have a televised BracketBuster game that turned out to be an ESPN3 webcast. Guy confronted the Love at the MAC Hoops Tourney this year and accused him of being FakeGuyMAC. Love says it's not him and I believe it. I think FakeGuyMAC has a longer history with the MAC than the Love does. Now Pete C. on the other hand...
