Well done....looks highly accurate.

Haser supposedly has been moved to the OL.....true Freshman Aloese can play both inside DL positions and he could surprise.

Depth at CB looks awesome.....but I'd better keep my mouth shut.

I hope Sebastian Smith does well at WR......some walk-ons and true Freshman could help there.

Thanks a lot! I am starting to feel pretty good about our defense. There is so much depth at the CB position (heard great things about Stewart and J. Brown). D-Line is looking pretty solid as well. Just a little bit concerned about the O-Line, especially now with some injuries to the starters. Some of the younger guys better be ready to step up. Cant wait for the season to start.

Is Moore practicing at weakside or strongside LB?

Smith seems a little ahead at center.  Shaw is my pick to prevail at corner. JMHO.

OK. For some reason I was thinking they had him at SAM.

Per Arkley's blog:

"The scout teams will become set this week when Ohio's coaches make final decisions on the depth chart at the end of fall camp. True freshmen who left off the first editions of the scout teams include: DE Tarell Basham, TEs Troy Mangen and Mason Morgan, DE Casey Sayles, and WR Sebastian Smith."

Looks about right. I expect the new TE, Alex Asher to move up a liltle ways. I hope he passes at least one of the true Freshmen, so they can redshirt. I wonder about your listing at DE, with Basham ahead of Branz, but I'm sure both will play.

I saw yesterday Arkley mention that Basham started the scrimmage at DE, now i get that it does not necessarily mean he will start the regular season. It looks like he will definitely be making an impact this season at DE regardless whether he starts or not. Just threw him ahead of Branz for now.

Which would put Tony Porter and Cleon Aloese on the scout team. I think that's great, and I hope they can keep their redshirts intact. I want to see those two as fifth year seniors.

In the one scrimmage I watched I was impressed with Basham.  Branz looked great last year......but Basham looked a lot better during that scrimmage....and I hope that's what he does to Louisville...Bashem.

I know there have been a lot of nagging injuries with the WR's so far this year. Just wondering what other names besides those mentioned above will get some time this year. Any thoughts? Anyone stand out from the group?

I think Reid might get some pt.

Look for Patterson to get WR work....he needs to be on the field more.

Remember the set up in the bowl last year, where Foster lined up in the backfield behind the tackle and slipped into the flat for an easy toss and catch TD? Put Daz in Foster's position in that set and you have some real options.

I've heard Atwell had had a great camp at MLB.  I'm expecting we will see a lot of him this year.  Seems like he was always in on plays on punt and kick off last year.

I'm hoping that the correct answer is none.   Redshirt anyone you can at this point so that we don't lose a step next year.   I think the 6 listed will be ok as long as they stay healthy.  I would suspect we will see Dixon, and there is another walk on (can't recall the name), that may move into that rotation.  It also sounds like Daz may see some time as well.

Game notes are up with depth chart. Everything on the depth chart above is almost spot on. The only definite differences are Branz is listed as a starter at one DE and Shaw at CB. I'm not at all surprised don those.

Other interesting things: Z-WR is listed as Dovell or Cochran, although Dovell is listed first, if that means anything. Also the back-up at F-WR is L. Smith or Reid. Center is listed as Smith or Powell, but of course, the injury settles that. Also, it leaves the safety starters undetermined with Kristoff starting at one or the other, depending on whether Hughes or Ingol is the other starter. No decision on the kicker. It's listed as Yazdani or Green for both field goals and kickoffs.

I've heard its the same depth chart as was posted in spring.

Regarding Dovell or Cochran.  I think you will see those two rotating in and out depending on the play call. Either one could start the game depending on the initial package.

Last year you may recall that the depth chart had Cochran listed as the number 1 and Dovell as #2.  Dovell started the first game.   I would say the only sure starter week after week will be  Foster.

Definitely there will be depth there, so there probably will be a lot of shared playing time aside from Foster, as you said.
