Can't believe that none of you are in.

The Oxnard/Ventura coast is the Mediterranean-like gold coast of southern California.  Ventura is quite like Athens in many ways, though a bit larger.

that coast goes all the way to Santa Barbara, where I like to hang out. Ventura is pretty nice as well. Hope you enjoy the game. If there's anyone in Colorado Springs looking for a fellow Bobcat to share the game with, PM me and maybe we can get together somewhere.

Also, on a very important related topic, I am wondering where the Hollywood High Sheiks are practicing now and are going to play.  I can see their field from where from where I park at work--it's all dug up as if they're putting in a new drainage system.

I only hope that the Sheiks are ready to cheer on the 'Cats on Sunday.

I'm still holding out hope that you find some decent airfare and surprise us in Louisville.  I will have cold ones waiting for you at the tailgate just like we had cold ones at The Temple before football/basketball games "back in the day".  Make it happen.  The wifey will understand!
