I was very despondent immediately following the game. Didn't want to do anything. I needed a pick me up. My fiancee wanted to give me a pick-me-up. So we went over to Premiere Video and picked up a movie of my choice (I tend to be very snobby at the video store when, as I'm sure at least one leg of many couples is wont to be) and stopped at Larry's for cheeseburgers and milkshakes. Driving around Congress, E. State, and W. Union, I can tell there were a lot of big watch parties at houses around campus. Yesterday, I saw much less scarlet and grey than in past years. There has been a big cultural shift in favor of our football team since when I was a student. I just hope the students and community come out and provide a big, boisterous atmosphere next week. I'm worried about where this thing ends up this year.
