Ohio beat NT, BSU won over Army and Akron & CMU had close home games vs. very good 1AA teams

BUT

WMU lost at home to 1AA Nicholls St
UMass lost by 10 at home to 1AA Maine (a 5-6 team last year)
Baylor put 56 up on Buffalo IN THE FIRST HALF
Fiami lost by 34 to a Kentucky team that lost to WKU last week

The MAC went 4-6 against OOC opponents this week, 0-4 against AQs.  After two weeks the MAC is 9-14 OOC, but only 1-11 vs AQs (the MAC won 7 AQ games last season).  The MAC is 3-1 vs 1A non-AQs and 5-2 vs 1AA teams.

its not just the MAC, look at the scoreboard, blow outs galore across FBS and FCS teams are running wild all over the place. It's pandelirium.

Over in the American SMU needed a last minute TD pass to beat Montana State. Apparently 22 more scholarships don't go as far as they used to.

North Texas was 4-8 last year, don't get carried away. Team has lots of work to do. But beating the Mean Green at home is not a huge feather in the cap.
