OHIO 14, UNT 7
Attendance: 18, 563 (Students use excuse of poor UL performance and stay away in droves)
The offense I saw at UL couldn't score more than two TDs against the Poor Sisters of the Dead. The defense, except for long TD passes, wasn't half bad. Since UNT's QB is probably a lot less mobile and accurate, and probably can't find the open guy as well as Bridgewater, I don't expect nearly as good a passing game.
Alternate Theory: The most improvement a team makes is between its first and second game. Ohio improves 150 percent and blows out the Cards 73-0.
[Some of the this is sarcasm, but I'm not sure exactly which part. I'm still shell-shocked after Sunday. Probably the most miserable game I've ever witnessed, and I've been a Bobcat fan since the 1950s.]
