As much as we dislike TWC, Comcast, Cox, ATT, Verizon, etc... please do not pirate their work.

There are a number of ways to watch ESPN content legally.  Sports bar.  Friend's house.  Your office (yeah, boss, I'm that dedicated!).  Or a gym.

The wife watches more ESPN at the gym these days than I ever did at home, and it only costs $10/mo.

$30 for ESPN a la carte, my (still out of shape) ass.

Screw TWC.  They make money hand over fist by charging people outrageous prices for stuff they don't want.  Making people buy a crappy service that they don't want in order to get the one thing they do want is an unlawful tying arrangement.  If they and ESPN don't want firstrow to carry their service, they have tons of lawyers who can track them down.

That said, after watching tonight's Ohio win on firstrow (didn't try the ESPN website), I did catch the last minute or so of WMU's pathetic loss to Nichols St on Watch ESPN through the ESPN website.  Don't know if they've changed their policy or what.

You know...I'm not one normally to pirate.  But whole ESPN thing where they only allow you to watch their ESPN3 internet stream if you subscribe to their internet service providers is BS.  They don't give you an option to pay for the online stream.  Not going to worry about finding other means on that F'uped business plan.

And why should I inconvenience myself in order to watch a game that's otherwise available at home on the Internet?  The nearest sports bar that MIGHT have the game available is at least 20 miles away, my friends might not want to watch the game, I don't belong to a gym and our firewall at work blocks ESPN videos (I'm not sure we use one of the preferred ISPs anyway).

I am never one to pirate but I became a big fan of First Row because of NFL football. After spending the entire day dealing with TW because of billing errors and a screw up with the My Services platform which prevented me from getting ESPN3, I'm very tempted to try and cut cable all together.
