Grant Venham deserves some credit for a markedly improved performance against North Texas.  He boomed a couple, including one when backed up in his own end zone.  Hopefully that builds some confidence.  The protection scheme also seemed to be better.

Agreed.  He had a really nice game, as did the entire punt team.  He also made a nice tackle to stop a big return on the farthest punt where he had basically outkicked his coverage.  He will be an important part of the game this week.

1000% agree! This seemed to get lost in our offensive woes.

Hats off to special teams units for sure IMO.

We still haven't played BG yet. Then, and only then, a Jedi will he be.

Grant is a very good athlete, so it doesn't surprise me about his tackling ability.

How many times have teams really tried to block one?  I think that Louisville tried and came close on the very first one.  Since then, I don't think anyone has really tried.

I do hope last year's problem is banished
