Looks like all stadium seats are sold out. Only seats being sold at stadium are $20 hill spots

At least 500 empty seats through the stadium - why?

The seats were empty but they were sold. The family pack section had several empty seats and I am guessing the late start had something to do with it.

Exactly...you can't sell the seat twice. Whether or not someone (particularly a season ticket holder) comes is their own prerogative. Regardless, two outstanding crowds to start the season.

And...that was probably the least amount of Marshall fans I've seen in Peden since their return to the MAC. No more than 3,000 tops I'd say.

I don't like my season seats so I sat on the hill tonight. Seemed like by far it was all students.

WAIT WAIT WAIT. I thought Marshall was the greatest traveling fan caravan this side of the Pacific Ocean!

Airlines don't assign an actual seat until you check in, though. It would be harder with football.

The year Jim Grobes Ohio team beat Marshall in Athens there were very few Herd fans that made the trip. 1,000 that year would be generous and it was pretty much a slam dunk that Ohio was going to win that game.
