Thanks for posting this, as seeing the highlights from your first two games makes me feel more confident that the game will be highly competitive, and that we'll be bringing the bell back to WV next season.

Marshall has the horses, but I truly feel that Ohio has the upper hand in coaching.  We'll see what wins out on Saturday night.

In the end I think the speed and talent will dominate.  Our players are superior to yours.

Can someone with a Marshall degree please translate for me?  What exactly is he saying?  Is the University's team gone?  Where did they go?  Are they leaving for better pay somewhere else?  Who is he asking to "get the job done" in his absence? 

Do they have an English department at Marshall?

I think he's saying that he just made it to Chapter 3 of his micro-econ book, and they're talking about cartels. Applying the lesson to something he understands, he's urging the Terd fans to hold out from going to Athens until we re-up the football and basketball series, with the thought that we would pay them for the privilege of playing an extra game in Huntington.

If you were able to figure out the physics (don't worry, I don't expect you to) and travel back in time to 2011, you would see that Terd fans explained away the drubbing with the rationale that Terd got so used to beating Ohio that it wasn't a big game for them anymore, but Ohio was playing its Super Bowl. 37 point advantage....but Ohio wasn't better. Marshall just didn't care.

We thought it was (and still think it is) funny, b/c it's so typical of Terd fans to cling to superiority like it's still 1999 in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
