He pick Marshall and mentioned how bad they looked against Ohio and not how Ohio made them look so bad. Dear lord he just provided enough fuel for the mindless masses in Huntington to keep chirping for at least another week.

I find that I am having unusual feelings that I am not comfortable with. I may actuall be pulling for Marshall to win this game. My heart is screaming "Go Hokies" but my brain is saying "Go Herd!l. My brain hurtsI tell you! Make it stop.

In all seriousness what are Ohio fans rooting for in this game?

A. VT to win
B. Marshall to win
C. Marshall to lose a close game which would still look favorably on Ohio with Bobcats not having to hear the endless talk of how Marshall should be 4-0 if not for giving the game away to Ohio?
D. You could gives a rats rear end what happens in this game!

I'm watching Marshall and North Texas on two different TVs and hoping they both win or at least look good.

I watched Gameday for the first time this season starting about 10:30 -- no way I'm watching three hours of that -- and whenever Herbie was on I either muted it or changed the channel.  Still dealing with his tirade over NIU in the Orange Bowl.

As for Terd & NT, gotta root for them and any team on Ohio's schedule, except when we play them.  The more wins they get, the better we look.

I can honestly care less. I want them to go undefeated so we look even better. If our only loss is to a top ranked team, I like our post season chances.

It's obvious that VT is giving this game away. 😊

Yes.  They have more talent, better facilities, more money and they're in a better-run conference.  A loss by VT would be unacceptable.

Clearly this VT team isn't all that good. Marshall should win this game. I found myself rooting for Marshall initially, but I don't want a blowout because then Chuck Landon will become that much more insufferable.

Edit: As for Herbie being a douche, that secret's out.

I kinda want a blowout just to read what he would say.  You know for a fact he would go back to the loss against OHIO and how it "ruined" everything.

I have decided to go all in for Marshall and North Texas! After today I want their only losses to have come at the hands of Ohio.

How about the Mean Green? 21-21 in 3rd with Georgia!

Actually if Marshall wins it will just make the loss to Ohio that much more painful for Chuck.

Virginia tech wins in 3 OT. Marshall honestly did get hosed on a missed pass interference call on the last drive.

I actually feel a little sick for Marshall. That was an obvious hold that should have been a first down. This loss is far worse that one to Ohio. Once Ohio went up 10-7 the cats never trailed. This one was in complete control for the Herd and they let it slip trough their fingers. Mentally this will be a tough one to recover from.

what a classic Marshall game.

- Driving down to win the game Cato....throw an interception. Classic Cato.
- Doc's boneheaded decision to not use a time out at the end of regulation.
- and then a couple of questionable PI calls at the end = Ref conspiracy!

that's enough mayhem to keep them in meltdown mode for awhile.
