Like most throwback uniforms, somebody should really throw them back (pic from CBS):

I.....kind of like these. I could do without the giant C in the middle of the chest, but I like the matte helmets.

Better than Fiami's (truism is true).

I like them too, actually. I don't like most throwback uniforms, or new ones (like Miami's), but these are pretty cool

I love the socks...mostly because nobody wears socks anymore in college football.

I think it should be like the NFL, where you're mandated to wear the socks up. Why? Because I think it looks good and this is my pretend world where I make fashion choices for college football players.

I'd like to see OHIO wear a throwback uniform from the late '50s.  The one with the helmets with the very board green stripe on the top.  O$U had a similar one at the time with a red stripe.  Not sure who came up with it first.

Throwback unis are a nice distraction, maybe an attention getter but I'll get real excited about it when linemen start wearing single bar face masks again.  Then we can talk about throwbacks.   My grandfather was proud to tell us that his favorite move against an opponent was picking up two fistfuls of dirt in his four point stance and shoving it into a blockers eyes.  That's football in the "old" days, boys and girls..

Those are not bad, some of those had extra padding on them.

I have to admit that I love the studio-quality photography here, with the laundry cart and random chairs in the foreground, and odd stuff on the tables to give the room a natural, lived-in look.

Yes......has a very organic look to it!  I was hoping for an empty Gatorade bottle laying on its side.  Maybe next time?

The bits of paper on the floor on the left side was a nice touch, too.
