 I am sure it's the coaching staff's biggest concern as well. The O-line has been beat up and shuffled around and that has a lot to do with it but you don't win road games at UB and BG without improving these numbers.

You may be right, but it's on the guys in the trenches to open the holes. Our injuries there are significant right now.

This line will be very good in 2 years, when Powell, Lucas, McQueen, Gibbons, Everhart, Watson, Wood are all Seniors in the Juniors. The best fix in the short run, though, is for the starters to get healthy. Otherwise we just have be patient as the younger guys improve.

I remember back in 2005 a promising start to the season fizzled when 3 starters on the Offensive Line went down to injury in one 5-minute period against Bowling Green and there really was no depth behind them. This year when the starters went down against Louisville there was depth, and I'm hoping that the season is the reverse - a slow start turns into a powerful finish as the younger line continues to return, and the Seniors heal up and return.
