Thanks. Ohio didn't give Louisville much of a game, and lost 7-8 starters to boot. With a bye week next week, we're hoping most of the starters will finally be back when conference games start.

Right back at ya.  And I'm rooting for Teddy B for Heisman, too.  He seems to be as good a human being as he is a player.

My son, a real big Browns fan, has this theory to.  In fact, he believes some of the strange Browns' trades and other actions lately are setting the stage for this.  Personally, I can't quite follow all the twists and turns of the necessary logic.  I hope it's right, though.

So to follow up the "Suck for Luck" campaign of a few years ago, are we now going to see teams "Tank it for Teddy" this year?

Not if the Jaguars beat them to him.

If UConn holds on to beat Michigan then that would have made the AAU unbeaten on the day.  If Marshall holds on and NTSU gets to redo the 4th quarter against Georgia then the computers would really love us right now and love Louisville that much more.

For Louisville you want a computer ranking high enough so that if you go unbeaten you don't get passed over for the title game in favor of a 1-loss team.  Yesterday was a good day for them in that regard.  It was kind of close to being a day better than they could have ever dreamed of.

Johnny Football will wear a Jag uniform.

Which is kind of fitting when you think about it.

Manziel a pro prospect?  I've seen him once--last week vs. Alabama.

Verdict:  He has a great offensive line, which gives him time.  He's very fast.  He has a mediocre arm (in terms of the pros).

Judgment:  Not at all a pro prospect.  The pros are so fast that his speed won't tell in the pros.  Then, he gets hit a few times and hurt or slowed.  Not at all a pro prospect.

I'm sure GM's all over the league are subscribing to your scouting report.

Checking UL scores each week and hoping you win big and go undefeated.  Would like to see UL win the National Championship.  Have to say that UL fans treated us just fine at  the game, before and after.

Things are lining up pretty good for them.  Except for the Cincy game, all their games vs. opponents with winning records so far are at home (Rutgers (3-1), UCF (3-0) & Houston (3-0)) so they have home field advantage against their toughest opponents.  Memphis (1-2) is the fourth home game.  And other than Cincy (3-1), the road schedule is pretty soft: Temps, USF & UConn, none of which has won a game.

This just might be the break you Cards fans were looking for.   Teddy might decide to stay....

What is the general feeling from Cards fans about BCS Championship (even if undefeated).

I don't think Cincy will give you much of a game without Lemuex (sp)

Legaux.  It's pronounced like Lego.  I think you're right, but with a 6th-yr senior at QB they at least have some experience there and they have time to get better.  Pretty much nothing but cupcakes for the next five games: USF, Temps, Memphis & SMU, along with an ok UConn in the middle. The last three games, tho, are @Rutgers and @Houston before home against L'ville.  They should be no worse than 7-4 by the L'ville game.

Best wishes to Louisville for the remainder of the season.  I wish we would have given you all a better game.  If we played again, Louisville would win but I think it would be a more competitive game this time around.  But that doesn't matter.  It is what it is.

The key is that Ohio is continuing to improve. They have been starting a lot of Freshmen and Sophomores, and those players should continue to improve all season long. Even better, some starters will be returning from injury, meaning extra depth down the stretch.
