There's a new wall graphic on the 2nd floor of Peden tower that spells out Bobcat Football's "core values."  Really nice looking and was probably expensive.  Too bad one of the core values - "Perseverance" - is misspelled.

Did you even make it out of the building before you excitedly posted this?

(Sigh)

In agree. Spelling is not an essential football "core value"

Local high school accepted a donation of a new scoreboard, when installed the home school name on the board was misspelled.  This happens, the contactor should be accountable to correct it.  SBH, if you like, blame coach Solich.  His degrees are from UNL. And, L.C. what is the old joke, the "N" on the helmet stands for what?

I have to admit that when I was volunteer in the Sports Information Office I was in charge of climbing up the ladder to update the schedule on the old marquee sign in front of the Convo. I misspelled the name of not one, but two of the other schools.  Someone had to tell me it was Miami, not Fiami and BGSU not BGSUCKS.

I agree. It happens. I ordered a sign made from the special 3m Film for windows that is see-through from one side, a sign on the other (you see it on buses a lot). After I had the sign installed, I looked, and realized there was an 'r' missing, and the sign referred to the "envionment" rather than the "environment". Oops. The sign maker made a new one, but it took a few weeks, and in the interim we took a little ribbing from customers.
