Definitely.

Someone once questioned the wisdom of bringing him on the team. Not good call.

This post is almost positive...Is it really from Monroe Slavin.

What I expected was more like this

Matt Waters...

Who knows...everyone we play is terrible so he might not really be a good receiver.

Just pulling your chain M.S. but you have to admit that your realist posts sound a lot like negative posts.

2nc, I do think that my realistic posts sound like negatives at point.  'cause I have reasonable expectations and I'm generally pretty realistic; I see what's there reasonably accurately.

So, yeah, we've performed well at points.  But we've have too many head-scratcher moments.

Monroe, I also get really frustrated with those head-scratching moments.  I think (maybe just hope) that we are better than those lapses would sometimes lead me to believe and I really cannot wait until the Bulls game to see if we can put a whole game together against a quality team.  We cannot help our conference schedule and we were not too convincing in our non-conference schedule--but we did win two games that could have gone the other way.  Marshall has its moments but is inconsistent as well.  North Texas seems to have some success and is probably the best team we have beaten.

At any rate, the concern I have due to the fact that we did not put CMU away is greater than my excitement of OUr collective 140-47 score against the other 3 terrible teams we have played in the MAC.

I am usually a green colored glasses wearing eternal optimist but I just cannot get myself to my usual state of positiveness with this team despite of the record breaking and, at times, brilliant moments of quarterbacking, running, catching, catching and running, and yes even some brilliant defensive backfield moments.

A 4-0 finish of the regular season will be huge and very possible but very tough..Even if we take care of business against Buffalo and BG then we have KSU who has played almost as tough of conference schedule as we have not played.  They have put up 21+ points against NIU, BG, BSU and Buffalo-sure maybe late scores but there will be no margin for error against this team if we win the next 2 games.
