21-7 at the half. More impressive since Toledo is without their starting RB David Fluellen

Toledo takes over inside a minute and BG has just one timeout, so Toledo should win.  Looks like the Buffalo game just got huger.

It's good, but doesn't change anything, except maybe the bowl picture. Ohio still needs to win out.

It sure is.  Buffalo is for real- they are blasting Kent 33-7 right now.  Thankfully the game's 10 days away, giving Ohio extra time to prepare.  Buffalo's  the hottest team in the MAC East right now.

whoa, let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. Yes Buffalo is having their best year ever in FBS, but that's because they've only had 6 wins in a season once since moving up 14 years ago. Their 5 wins before today include a win over an FCS team and 4 FBS teams that are 1-26 v FBS and 1-3 v FCS.

The win over a 2 win Kent State team is mildly impressive as it doubles their opponent's win totals but I'm not ready to crown Buffalo a legitimate contender yet. Let's see what they've got in 10 days.

Almost didn't.  A UMass player had the onside kick in his hands and let it get away.

It means, though, that on Nov. 5 we'll be definitely fighting for a share of first place in the East instead of maybe a share of second.

Check out the records of the teams we've played recently:  'kron, CMU, EMU, redhawk.  And, we lost one of those games.

If you don't think that Beefs will be a tough game for us, then you must not be watching us play.  We're playing okay.  Well enough to win 3 of 4 from some of the worst teams in football.  I don't see any dominant players on our side.  A few guys are having some nice games.  But I can't point to anyone who's played really well every game.

Every game? That's asking for a lot. Johnny Manziel had 3 INTs and 0 TDs and only 27 yards rushing vs. LSU last year and still won the Heisman Trophy.

Tettleton is the MAC leader in passing efficiency. I sure think a lot of people are taking for granted what a special player he is. Donte Foster had his third straight 100-yard receiving game. His season-low is 56 yards vs. Louisville. I think Blankenship is going to break out down the stretch because the passing game has been so good. I don't know how you define dominant, but I think Ohio has guys who can take over games. But sure, Buffalo has some nice players (a great LB) and will be a big test.
