Oh man, I just got chills thinking about the Cats destroying the redchickens while wearing these! Maybe we will have a repeat of the Marshall game two years ago when they revealed the black uniforms.

I do too. Which brings me to my next question. Why doesn't Russell/College Bookstore have a special limited-edition of this design for hats/t-shirts, etc FOR SALE NOW?

Maybe that's coming and I just need to be patient, but with new designs like this, the novelty and excitement must be capitalized on quickly before logic sets in and I realize I really don't need to buy more Ohio gear!

They did "Thriller" at the UConn game for band night. Quite a massive sound when 20+ bands blasted those first few big notes.

5:1 that there's a "Rocky Horror" tune played on Saturday.

love it, big fan of white and the green brick.  my older brother is already pestering about whether they might be selling the jersey.  I actually have to say I would prefer this one over our black one.

I would kind of like to see a new helmet added to this combo sometime in the future, but something subtle.

Maybe similar to the white helmets EMU wore last Saturday. On one side, a ghost out (gray) Attack Cat - with or without the arched Ohio. On the other side, the green brick numbers.

I don't really care for the brick effect, but what I do love is the arch OHIO on the chest. I've wanted that for a long time because it helps to identify the jersey as ours. In the past, some uniforms have looked generic and fans really couldn't tell it was Ohio's uniform. As for helmets, I get annoyed with teams having all these different helmet colors and logos. I'm more of a traditionalist. I think teams should have one helmet. The helmet goes a long way in identifying a school. I think schools lose some of their identity when they're wearing different helmets every week.

I think Joe Namath was the original with white shoes.  White Puma's with the green stripe would bring back memories of my youth.

Kind of a mixed feeling for me when I look at these.  I'll reserve judgement until I see them on actual players and not manikins. If they have the effect of the black uniforms in terms of elevating the level of play, I'll love 'em!
