I know the officiating's been terrible, the playcalling stinks, yada yada yada.  But let's give the Bulls a little bit of credit.  They're better than Ohio right now.  Plain and simple.

Don't be fooled by the game tonight. I'm not saying Buffalo isn't good, they are definitely good, but our atrocious play tonight is making them look like a top 20 team.

We are beyond pathetic tonight.

Is it just me, or is does it seem like the attendance for the game is sparse?

We'll see. I say 42-21.

Northern won't run their running back straight into their left guard 20 times.

Agreed on the play calling but then again, I'm looking at OU's runners. Every single run back on a kick off, the OU guy gets the ball and then runs a straight line, no jukes, no going left or right, just straight ahead into the Buffalo defenders. That's about what the running back were doing too at times.

Kickoff returns this half have been terrible.  We are really missing Daz.

To think....if Buffalo had not scheduled Ohio St. and Baylor in weeks 1 and 2, this team could 8-0 and right there in the Top 25 mix with Northern and Fresno.

Talking about kick offs why would #35 be doing that?  Is he our best break away runner?

I have the same question. Why is Nathan Carpenter returning kicks? I don't recall him ever doing it before. I realize Patterson is out, but hard to believe Carpenter is the next in the depth chart.

I tried to tell some of you in the pregame thread that Buffalo was pretty good.

I know it was easy to look at their schedule and dismiss them but when you watch them all year like I have, it was pretty obvious that they were pretty good. What they did to Ohio is what I've seen from them almost all season.

Oliver is a beast, Licata is solid for being a sophomore QB, Neutz is a stud, and Mack is one of the best defensive players in the history of the MAC.

I personally think they'll defeat Bowling Green and represent the East in the MAC Championship game.

I think Bass was shaken up on a kick return, so we were down to our #3 returner. I remember Carpenter being back on a KO at some other point this season (maybe last week vs Fiami after Daz was hurt), but either the kick wasn't returnable or the other deep man got it.

If that happens, I hope NIU beats them like a rented drum. Then I hope that Mack get drafted by the bills and have perfectly stereotypical bills careers.

Edit: That being said, yes UB played quite well last night. They were help immensly by the fact that the Bobcats got on the bus back to the air port at halftime.

Yes, and I personally found it embarrassing for national TV. They talked about that game all over campus and in the news and it looked like maybe 16k or so actually showed up. UB has struggled in years past getting butts into the seats and I figured this was the game that the locals would actually support. I guess I was wrong. The students did show up though as they took over the entire bottom bowl on one half of the field.

Casper71.  Just speculation, but, film study may have 100% of their kicks to the other side.  If so, it would make sense to have the other back be a player with Carpenter's attitude coming out to help block.  Just guessing.

and yet you told your UB buddies that Ohio would win the game. Keep playing both sides of the fence, that way you can always tell somebody that you were right. Go away traitor.

Grow the hell up and stop being a biased fool. I picked Ohio to win a close hard fought game but warned you that Buffalo was more than capable of beating them and that they were better than what many of you thought.

And me a traitor...you're funny man. As someone that attended every single Ohio football/basketball home game while at OU and attended numerous road contests, that offends me.

Fans like you are what Ohio doesn't need. Delusional, biased and calling out others for actually being objective.
