Mike--I believe that you've oft preached that tackling involves causing the opponent's legs to cease activity.
We seem to feel that hitting them in chest or shoulder pads is the way to go.
Perhaps you have some time to forward one of your prior essays about tackling is hitting 'em in the legs to the Athletic Department.

A little interest in tackling might be nice. We appear more interested in not dirtying uniforms, theirs or ours.

That would be technique. Do you notice how many times our back ends up on the ground? As opposed to the other team moving a pile with the back standing up at the conclusion of the play. Solich teams habe gotten worse and worse every year in blocking and tackling technique.

A related question: Why have we made opposing RBs the last two weeks look like Heisman Trophy candidates?

What--You don't want to include the guy from CMU also?

Oh--looking at the title of this thread, I realize that I need to clear up some potential confusion.
The prolific NE Ohio author is still alive and well; it's our football that's hurtin'.
