How about Prior, his leaving the game did not look good?

66 has the question of the week.  Prior injured creates a domino effect across the line.

I don't know the status of Prior's leg injury, or Purdum's knee. I suspect Xavier Hughes will play, and I hope TT's foot is fine.

Prior's leg not broken as first feared, per Frank.  Don't know anything more.

I'm also concerned about the hit T2 took at the end of the game.  That seemed to affect the upper part of his body (ribs, shoulders or head).  Any word about that from anybody?

I recall seeing a tweet from Arkley that quoted Tyler saying that he'd gotten his wind knocked out, and thats the only reason he couldn't go

Depth chart for this week has Prior gone, and LT is McQueen backed up by Justin Haser, who recently converted from DT. At this point 15 different Offensive linemen have played for Ohio, which is the most I've ever seen. One that was expected to play a lot, Mark Smith, has yet to appear.

I expect that the offensive line against EMU will mostly be McQueen-Lucas-Powell-Wood-McGrath, who have played 388, 374, 254, 156, and 241 snaps this year, respectively. Beyond them, you have:

Haser - LT - 8 snaps
Everhart - LG/RG - 39 snaps
Williams - C 6 snaps
Gibbons - RG 79 snaps
Watson - RT 180 snaps
Curtis - 3 snaps
Welter - 3 snaps

Injured?
Smith LG/C - 0 snaps (projected as #2 center)
Lechner LT/LG/RG - 23 snaps (#1 LG)
Prior LT - 340 snaps (#1 LT)
Johnson RG - snaps (#1 RG)

In the "look on the bright side" category, every player in the #1 or #2 (or even #3) position on the depth chart this week for the offensive line is either a Freshman or Sophomore except McGrath. They may struggle this year, but next year and the year after the lines will be Veteran.

all this bodes well for the future, but playing freshmen and sophs this much is not so good for the rest of this year

Nor has it been all that good for this year so far. The problem is that the 5th year Seniors that were supposed to be the Offensive line starters have all been hurt. Lechner and Johnson have been gone since the Louisville game. McGrath missed some time but is back, but now Prior is out. The one Junior on the team, Mark Smith, hurt his hand if fall camp.

No.  Don't want to read excuses.  It's time to get it done.

If the O is a bit dinged, then somebody else has to step up on O or the D has to be shut down.  Let's see some leadership.

Monroe, they aren't excuses. They are simply obstacles to be overcome.

Where can we view the current depth chart? I'm particularly interested in special teams.

Sometimes it isn't kept up to date, but the most current one we have can be found in the Game notes, at page 11. This one seems pretty accurate, as the players we know aren't going to play are not on it.

For those down in the dumps about our team after last week, you should see the optimism over at the EMU boards:

Assuming we play 14 games this season the game vs EMU will mark the halfway point in the season. Was looking at Tettleton's stats this year vs his breakout season in 2011 and he's supringly not far off pace to match or exceed those numbers this year thanks to an increase in completion percentage (66.3 v 64.2) and yards/att (8.4 v 8.0).

For TT to match the halfway point of 2011 he'll need to have the following line against EMU on Saturday-

27/47,  305yds, 4TDs, 0 INTs.

Rushing stats are a little different, to be on pace to match 2011 TT will need the following vs EMU on the ground-

153att, 337yds 5TDs.

I'll let his rushing stats slide, 305 yds and 4 TDs in the air is doable though. I'll take it.

They have a lot to be down about.  Again this year they haven't had much on either side of the ball.  Their best defensive outing against a 1A team was 28 points in a loss to Rutgers.  They've given up in the 40s twice and the 50s twice.  Offensively, they haven't scored more than 25 pts against a 1A team and were held to 20 or under three times.  Since going 6-6 two years ago (which included two wins against 1AA teams) they're 3-15.

My favorite exchange on the EMU board:

Yeah, I've heard and read about a few people talking about boycotting EMU games but I wasn't sure they were serious about doing it. We will see this week huh?

Seriously, guys? A boycott? How in the world would anyone even notice?

Wonder if they will start him or ease him back into the rotation.  Jon has played tackle too.  Wonder if he might see some tackle? Eastern has a sr. 270 lb. DE with 30 starts.  So good to have him back.  Eases the domino effect the loss of Prior started.

Yes, and it would be nice to see Ohio with a big week, though, it is not like coach Solich to do so.  When the Cats get control of a game it becomes Daz/Edmond time to practice your favorite play killing the clock.  After the Cats win this one (me believing) let us look for other indicators of their success; 1st downs, rushing yards, passing efficiency, 3rd down conversions, etc.
