Delaware is probably the worst state in the Union and I wish it bordered Canada, so we could give it to them.

I'm sure that all of the Delaware haters have never actually spent any time in the state.

Beautiful beaches (consistently named cleanest in the nation), gorgeous chateau country in the Brandywine Valley (feels like you're in the south of France), amazing gardens and arboretums (ditto on France), fascinating history associated with the DuPont family (with some great museums), and within daytripping distance of DC, Baltimore, Philly, and New York--as well as Pennsylvania Dutch Country!

There is a lot to love about the state of Delaware--our first state!
