Brawley was out there practicing today just 8 weeks out of surgery. Heard that he looked good moving and won some races. Should be another month or 2 until he is fully back.

Dear Mr. Insider: Was Gundy ever actually on campus? Did he enroll in classes?

It looks like he prefers to sit on the bench at Alabama and draw his NIL money:

Gundy was on campus for a couple weeks and enrolled in classes before he left. Last I heard was that the Bama Commitment was fake and he was training qbs back in Oklahoma waiting for an opportunity to arise.

That article is immediately suspect, since it says [quote=FanBuzz]
Gundy was slated to compete with Kurtis Rourke for the starting job

If Gundy is actually at Alabama, the Alabama fans are unaware of it. Here's a discussion of the QB situation at Alabama in 24 at TideFans.com, and it has no mention of Gundy:

It's good to hear that McNaboe is on campus. Hopefully he will show on the roster soon. As for Tyrus III, he was a very late addition, so he might have arrived late, or might arrive in the Fall. Neither would surprise me.

Roster has been updated again, and almost all of the errors seem to be fixed. The only one that I noticed that is left is that Cisse is listed as a Freshman.

Interesting that we have another Beau Blankenship on board. This one is a TE from Paint Valley (via T;erd) instead of a RB from Oklahoma. No stats because he played only in T;erd's last game of '23 as a special teamer. In HS he had offers from Akron, BG, UTEP and UTSA but for some reason chose to walk on in Huntington. Pretty good size for a TE -- 6-3 and 225. If he has half the talent of the first Beau, he'll be okay.

Looks like Kobi Gorman and Gino Williams have both decided to step away from the team.

Kobi leaving kinda hurts. Really thought he would be the next solid DT.

The loss of Kobi will definitely hurt. I expected him to play a major role this fall. Williams would have probably seen action this fall, too. Both were from Pickerington Central, but even with them gone, Ohio still has two defensive tackles from Pickerington Central, Doggette and Keuchler. It was remarkable to have four defensive tackles all from the same high school.

Excited to see how different the offense looks with Navarro. Hope to see that old Nathan fun-n-gun offense.

And who takes the #2 role.

In one of Albin’s interviews he said the QB snaps are being shared equally between Parker and CJ. I was surprised to hear that CJ is back playing the sport.

Is this a portal jump, or just a decision not to play football?

I had heard more a personal decision than a Portal Jump but at this point who knows? Wishing him the best. Plenty of potential. The DT depth just took a big hit. Adds to things that keep me up at night including the TE room.

Pics from practice show the RB from Northwestern.

How come he’s still not on the roster?

Well, in Albin's interview with Russ Eisenstein he does mention how excited he is about the D-line depth, so there's that. I assume he said that knowing Gorman has stepped away.

This should answer any question about whether he’s in Athens or not.

Roster has been updated once again, this time including RB Anthony Tyus, and North Dakota DE transfer Ben McNaboe.

As "the insider" stated, Kobi Gorman and Gino Williams are no longer with the team and have been removed from the roster.

Keegan Wilburn (who entered the portal) is back on the roster.
Didn't see this anywhere, but Keegan Wilburn is headed to Bryant.

Some of these are just head-scratchers.

I know he didn't get a lot of run at WR, but he was a nice KR. With the only two returning WR's having a half dozen catches between them, I thought this might be a real chance for him to prove he can step up - but looks like we'll never know.
