“Losers assemble in little groups and complain about the coaches and the players in other little groups. But winners assemble as a team."
Pro Football Hall of Fame player Emlen Tunnell

Excuse doors for these players are swinging.
There is chemistry problems with this team. Its striking when the quarterback screams at the sideline "...what!!" right before the snap of the ball while the team is lined up. It shows frustration. It shows unsolved problems. It shows resentment. When problems are not addressed in any relationship, resentment grows like weeds. It was a one score game then. Adversity hit and the team immediately splintered....showing a team foundation held together by tape....
Pan around to the sideline..laughing groups...senior leaders in small groups... Emlen Tunnell's words in action.

The apologists would lay none of the blame for what can easily be  seen on the coaches.

(That is not to say that the players are blameless.)

This gets back to my point elsewhere about how the two "teams" came out at half time.  KSU was all together and got right to "team" stretching and prep.  Our guys come out late (I thought maybe they got a tongue lashing), in clusters, and with some arriving right at kick off.  they did nothing ORGANIZED to warm up for the second half and were obviously not ready to go mentally or physically.

You really can tell a lot about opponents by WATCHING what they do and comparing.  I lay this solely on a coaching staff that was not focused, organized, or in preparation mode for the second half.
