Don't even know what to say, a complete failure by the coaching staff and players for three straight games.  Just embarrassing and down right frustrating.  I'm truthfully scared to see what will happen at the UMass game, especially with me having already committed to bringing at least 10 family members to the game.  I hope they show something on Senior Day, but at this point I expect nothing but bad out of these players.  It is one thing to lose but to lose the way they have these last three weeks is a lack of toughness and mental fortitude by this team.

On day after Thansgiving, given Bobcats performance these three weeks, your 10 family members may make up 10% of the fans at the game.

Most embarrassing three-game stretch of any era, as far as I can tell.

I truly hope that Senior Day sees T2 in for one play then Vick & Sprague the rest of the way.  I don't care what he's earned, he has spent all his capital the last three games.  We need somebody out there that doesn't quit when the first bad thing happens.

I hope that if Tettleton get's the nod, he has the game of his life out there.  He has brought far too much to us to go out like this.

I just hope that we don't live/die by him next game.

Down a few scores. New QB. Daz in at RB. Excitement. Daz up the middle for a yard.

Things that make you go hmmm.

And that one play will be Beau up the middle.

Kent had scored more than 27 points ONCE all season. They scored 17 v. LIberty, 7 v. Akron, 14 v. WMU, 24 v. Miami and 21 v. South Alabama.

They outscored Ohio 27-0 in the second half.

TT was 1-3 v. Kent in his career.

I'm putting this with 44-0.

One of the most pathetic losses in last 10 years. Period.

Just got back from the game.   My fingers, feet and brain are frozen, so I'll be brief.  IMHO, TT has given up, and Frank should give up on him.   Several times during the game he slipped on his butt trying to make a cut and one time he just seem to have lost his balance without much pressure.  But, in each case he didn't seem upset at the fact that he fell down.  He just seemed to shrug it off.  Now, I'm no expert in reading body language, but TT's seem to say, "Oh well, what can you do, I guess we are going to lose, but heck, it's just a game."  As I've said before, I'm not surprised that our relative young D has had problems this year, but the total ineptness of our offense in the last part of the season has taken me by complete surprise.  I anticipated that these last three games would be typical MACaction games with scores like 38-32, 54-48, 61-54, etc.  The defense lived up to my expectations for the most part, but the offense was way below expectations.   Here's hoping we can turn it around for UMass.  If I were Frank, I'd thank TT for his service in the past years and start playing for next year by starting Vick and other underclassman.  Well, if it's senior dat, maybe start the seniors but don't let them play that much.  Perhaps, this is an angry post that should be ignored by one and all, but this is the strangest end-of-the season belly flop that I've seen in a long time.  How can we have looked so good against Marshall and North Texas (two top flight C-USA teams) and then stumbled to the finish line like this.  Perhaps the MAC is just so much better than C-USA that those victories against the leaders in that rinky-dink conference don't mean much.  Sorry Chuck Landon!

I disagree with your disrespect for the recent Beefs and BG.

Though I gotta admit that tonight's Terhuning was pretty thrilling.

What a shame. Underachieving, but really a bad team this year.

That's not what pisses me off.

What pisses me off is the inability to adjust our playcall, stupid penalties, and the team not caring / giving up. Those things are all absolutely unacceptable.

What's the point in starting Tettleton next week?

Let's not kid ourselves, it's Senior Day next week, but this was really the last "true" home game of the year. Nobody will be at the game next week.

Start Vick and other younger guys who are hungry and want to prove themselves. Frankly, this team has no business playing in a bowl game. So let Vick/Daz etc get a bunch of snaps to build on for next season. I don't know, maybe I'm overreacting too, but I wouldn't mind this.

I'd throw blown coverages in there too along with mismatches.  We had more this game than either of the last two games (hard to believe).  Still don't understnd why we wouldnt have a real DB on Archer when he is in the slot.  He burned the nickel.  And, how did we not put the effort in to get to the ball before the half?  That was a back breaker.  And then the penalties..wow I could go on and on.  This was just Knorr-esque.

Judging by the way Daz went down, I doubt that he'll be available next week.  But we should see a boatload of Edmonds next week.  And actually I'd like to see Beau in there for a 100-yd game.  I haven't seen any quit out of him.  We should be able to beat UMass without much trouble, so why risk injury to T2 for whatever his future endeavors might be.

Prior to this, the worst was the final three games of 2005. That team had a strong Junior class, and they made sure 2006 was different. This year there are not a lot of Juniors, but will they, and the younger players make sure 2014 is different?

This is why folks should lay off Tettleton a bit maybe.

I am officially done with Ohio football for 2013. These last 3 weeks have been embarrassing to say the least. Thank God basketball is back.
