It wasn't Victory Hill, it was right by the cannon.

Archer apparently was running so fast (even though he claims he always has to slow down when he reaches the end zone since nobody is around him) that he had to hop up the short wall and linger in front of the cannon on the painted "OHIO" in the grass.

Some of his teammates jumped up there as well.  A ROTC guy kind forced them down off the logo and the Kent players gave a him some back-talk.

On TV you could clearly hear the entire crowd (whatever was left at that point) booing the Kent guys.

I can't remember ever seeing anybody else have to jump up there and not be able to slow down or turn at the wall.

This is the first time I've said this in short time following Ohio...

I am absolutely ashamed at the way we've played.  Absolutely ashamed.

That 3.5 magnitude earthquake felt in Athens today was from my dear departed father spinning in his grave because of his beloved Bobcats' disgraceful performance last night.

I understand exactly what you are saying here.  All, I can say is hang in there and Second Street Forever!

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, But did anyone notice the handshake between Solich and Haynes? It looked like Frank was not pleased with the last touchdown. Solich pointed to the endzone where they scored and appeared to have words for Haynes. Anyone else notice anything?
If you don't like the way someone is behaving after they score, then don't let them score. If that is the thing Solich chose to be angry about last night, then he doesn't get it. Frank prefers the one point win, nothing more. Maybe he will file a bullying complaint with the MAC.

So no level of celebration is out of bounds for you? And if you don't like how they celebrate, you better not let them score EVER.

Robert--How about ending up with a larger number on the scoreboard than the oppo at game's end?

The claim is Solich may have had words with KSU's coach about disrespect after a Kent touchdown. If that's true, I don't necessarily have a problem with it. Do you? I don't think it demonstrates a lack of ability to see the "big picture," which is the insinuation.

Robert--I'm concerned with our recent horrid play, not some minor, juvenile activity.

Let's keep our eye on the ball.  If we were performing at anywhere near our capability (the real issue) then the secondary issue wouldn't exist.

In some defense of Archer I will say that I remember Scott scoring a touchdown against Temps in 09 and winding up on the hill but on the other side of the same endzone.
