What--you don't wanna be all-inclusive the d-line, the backers, the secondary, etc, etc.

How predictable.

Until the apologists acknowledge reality in at least some distant way, I provide public service.

The o-line is getting abused, but TT needs to handle the frustration better. and the offensive coaches need to account for this. More rollouts, more speed to the corners. not Beauupthemiddle.

I'd agree with that. I read about a a QB who took a tough sack towards the end of a game last weekend, and he said to the linemen, "Hey, I'm a big guy, I can take a hit now and then" to which the linemen responded "let's go then". They won at the end, by the way.

Just to follow up my prior post abouthe incoming freshman lineman for next year, Jake Prurehs is #76 in these photos in the green and gold. (St. Edward). Connor King (who OU should try to go atter again)  is #66.

I see Ohio has an offer out to their RB, Adrew Dowell (2015), who is rated 4 stars. He also already has offers from Illinois, Kent, Toledo, and West Virginia.

Yes, Andrew Dowell is a high quality back. Runs somewhat upright like Eric Dickerson, but has real power and speed. He's #5. His brother David #18 is a CB and WR on the team and is being heavily recruited as well. I know these kids because my son is in school with them. They are high quality kids with a lot of talent that would fit nicely in a MAC program. I'm sure the Ohio scouts must be aware of them.

For those in the Akron area, the Divison I Regional final is at Infocision Stadium (Akron U) this Saturday at 7pm. St. Edward v. Mentor. Mentor also has a DE committed to Ohio and a few other players that Ohio should be looking at.

Talk about timing. The Post just did a story on Jake Prurehs. I've watched this kid for two years. OU fans are going to love his style of play. He's tough and smart and really wants to go to OU.

I love this quote:

Despite being warned about the workload involved for balancing academics and athletics, Pruehs is planning to major in engineering.

“I’m going into Ohio’s engineering and a lot of people say going into engineering while being a full-time football player is almost impossible. The coaches and professors at OU told me I could do it, and I know I can do it.”

The academic caliber of OHIO recruits, it seems to me, continues to improve.  That's a good sign.

I agree. I already like this kid, just based on his attitude. I think it's great that he's already called all the other OL recruits. Maybe we've got a future leader that will push the other linemen to improve the way Eric Herman did.

Looking at his height, at 6'2", he is a lot shorter than most of the other recent OL recruits, who are mostly 6'4"-6'7". Interestingly, though, back in 2005 the line recruits were a lot shorter, including Tommy Stuck and David White at only 6'1" and Gary Schussler at 6'2".
