I've been stewing on the game and finally needed to let off some steam. The way this season has turned out has really made me embarrassed to even be a part of these games.

I graduated from OU and have subsequently worked here for almost 20 years. I've busted my rear end (and continue to do so) to make this university better. Every single day, I'm bringing my best effort. I care about this school, it's students, and alumni more than just about anyone. Care to the point that it hurts. And I know there's lots of other alumni and students out there that feel the exact same way.

When I see how some of these player are acting (it's not just TT), it makes me very upset...furious, actually. I don't care if they're 10, 22 or 80 years old...it's not too much to ask them to WORK HARD and CARE. That doesn't mean you always win...but they should be giving their absolute BEST and MOST ELITE effort on every play. Anything less is completely unacceptable. Same goes for the coaches.

What we have seen on the football field recently is an absolute embarrassment. If I ever performed that poorly at my job, I would quit the next day and go work at McDonald's. In fact, I'd feel as though I owe the university significant money for letting it down. There are very few people or things that I truly LOVE in this world, but Ohio University is one of them.

Do these players care that much? Heck no...and that's what really ticks me off. If I would have been blessed with the athletic ability to play football at OU, I would have played each game to my last breath. I would do everything in my power to represent this amazing school with dignity, class and character on and off the field.

Is it asking too much to care? I sure hope not. If any players or coaches happen to read this - I hope you do take it personally. I hope that you are upset that I'm calling you out. Prove me wrong....prove all of us wrong. We could go 0-12 and I'll still attend every home game and make 2-3 road trips a year.  I will NEVER quit on Ohio University - and anyone associated with this program that has quit on OUr school should be ashamed of themselves.

Ohio till the day I die...GO BOBCATS!

What stinks even more is we're doing this against the worst competition in the MAC. We haven't had to play Northern, Balls or Toledo. Imagine if we played them instead of the Directional Michigans?

Wow. +1,000

That is exactly how I think most of us are feeling. We won't quit on this team, but it sure looks like they've quit on us.

No shit! But hey just ask LC, we got math on our side, MAC is tougher, non conference is tougher, this ankle Spain gost us .02% in the Lincoln scale, which means in year 2021 The equation and noustradomous equals out.

Haha, Billy, very funny. I can't help it if you make you make yourself look silly by making stuff up, and then refusing to admit you were wrong when it turns out not to be true. I don't even call you out on some of the ridiculous things you say, giving you the benefit of the doubt that you were intending hyperbole, rather than than fact.

That's not nearly as painful as Norway Knee.
