I've noticed that sloppiness has crept into the athletic dept's press releases over the past two or three years.  Sometimes it's understandable because they're in a rush to get a release out late at night after a game.  But this afternoon I noticed the following in the release on Solich's media conference:

"On weather the team will have Matt Green as the punter.."

"Weather"??????  Please have a live person proofread your materials.  DON'T RELY ON SPELL CHECK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure there is a lot done over there. I sent a link to the convocation center home page under facilities. While reading last night I was happy to see that Geoff Carlson had a pretty good win streak going in the Convo extending back to the 04 05 season. Not sure if I sent the note to the right place informing them that it had not been updated recently (or since the Bush Administration)
